Kidd Creative ("we," "our," "us") operates kiddcreative.ca and provides creative production services from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to run the studio.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: when you fill out a form on the site, when you visit any page, and when you reach out by email.

Information you provide

Contact and lead forms: name, email, company, project type, budget, timeline, and the message you send. This is stored in our CMS (Sanity) and emailed to us through Resend so we can respond.
Newsletter signup: just your email address.

Information collected automatically

Analytics: if Google Analytics is active on the site, your visit is recorded as an anonymized pageview. We see aggregate traffic, the pages you visit, and which campaign brought you here (UTM parameters). We do not see your name or email unless you submit a form.
Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-term server logs, including IP addresses, for security and performance purposes.

2. How we use your information

To respond to project inquiries and discuss potential work.
To deliver work and communicate during active projects.
To send the occasional studio newsletter (only if you sign up). Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe.
To improve the site by reviewing aggregate analytics (e.g. which case studies people read).

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share data only with the third-party services we use to operate this site:

Sanity - our content management system, where form submissions are stored as Lead documents.
Resend - the email service that delivers form submissions to our inbox.
Vercel - our hosting provider.
Google Analytics - if enabled, used solely for anonymous traffic analytics.
Calendly - if you book a discovery call. Calendly handles its own data per its own policy.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and security practices. We have not granted any of them permission to use your information beyond delivering the service.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use a single first-party cookie or sessionStorage entry to remember marketing attribution (e.g. which ad campaign brought you here) so the right team gets credit when you fill out a form. This entry contains UTM parameters and your initial landing page only.

If Google Analytics is active, it sets its own cookies for aggregate measurement. You can disable analytics via the site notice at the bottom of the page on your first visit, or by using your browser's built-in tracking-protection setting.

5. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and similar laws elsewhere, you can:

Ask what information we hold about you.
Ask us to update or correct information that's wrong.
Ask us to delete your information from our systems.
Withdraw consent to receive newsletters or be contacted about your inquiry.

To make any of these requests, email us at contact@kiddcreative.ca. We'll respond within a reasonable time, typically within seven business days.

6. Data retention

Lead form submissions are kept for as long as we're actively discussing or working on your project, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting and tax records. Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, run on managed infrastructure (Vercel), and store sensitive credentials in encrypted environment variables. No system is bulletproof, but we follow standard practices to keep your information safe.

8. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the studio grows or laws change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage briefly so regular visitors know.
