Founder
Led by filmmaker Lynden Kidd. Based in Calgary. Built for serious companies doing real, physical, high-trust work - and the brands they're building around it.
Lynden grew up between cities and the Canadian Rockies - between film sets and job sites. That tension became the studio's working DNA: stories shot like cinema but reported like documentary. Brands built like products. Photography that earns its space on the wall.
Before founding Kidd Creative, Lynden directed brand content for clients across construction, sport, tourism, and tech. The studio launched in 2023 to bring the same precision to a bigger surface area: not just one film, but the whole visual system a company runs on.
Every piece gets edited, colour-graded, sound-designed, and finished as if it's going to a festival. Even the corporate documentary.
One shoot fuels web, sales, social, recruitment, and editorial. The work earns its budget back over a decade, not a quarter.
We take on a small number of projects each quarter. Every engagement gets the studio's full attention - no tier-two clients.
Active builds, remote landscapes, fast-moving conditions. We work where the work happens - not in studios pretending.
Most clients stay with us for years. We grow with the brand, build the archive, and become the visual memory of the company.
